McMurry offers 63 majors spanning the arts, business, education, sciences, sports industry, and pre-professional fields like art therapy, medicine, dentistry, engineering, law, pharmacy, and physical therapy. 

Athletic programs comprise eighteen intercollegiate sports in the NCAA Division III. More than thirty clubs and organizations provide avenues for students to forge meaningful bonds within the campus community.

Founded in 1923 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, McMurry welcomes over 1,200 students annually to a 52-acre campus. Students are encouraged to explore new ways of thinking and to chart their paths to success, accomplishment, and service.
