PARKER UNIVERSITY IS home to one of the world’s largest chiropractic programs. Founded in 1982 by Dr. James William Parker and formerly known as Parker College of Chiropractic, Parker has two thousand students and thirty-five academic programs, including a chiropractic program and master’s degrees in neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, strength and human performance, and functional nutrition.

Parker is home to three colleges. The College of Health Sciences (CHS) offers the ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program and programs in radiologic technology, COMTA-accredited massage therapy, functional nutrition, neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, strength and human performance, diagnostic sonography, computed tomography, and a Spanish dual-language massage therapy certificate. CHS offers degrees in psychology, integrative health, and anatomy.

The College of Business and Technology offers an MBA in healthcare management, a computer information system degree and certificates, a health information technology online program, and a CAHIIM-accredited health information management program.

The College of Chiropractic employs technologically advanced resources, including the ParkerFit3D program. High-resolution immersive headsets such as the Oculus Quest 2, together with Toltech’s VH Dissector, offer an unrivaled educational classroom environment. Parker University gives students three ways to learn anatomy: the traditional gross anatomy lab, the VH Dissector on their personal devices, and now, in virtual reality.
