Trinity University

San Antonio, Texas

TRINITY UNIVERSITY is one of the nation’s top private liberal arts and sciences universities, located in San Antonio, the nation’s seventh largest city, where students learn from and participate in a multicultural urban environment.

In 2022, Trinity stepped onto the national stage at 55th in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of best liberal arts colleges, placing it in the top third of liberal arts colleges and universities in the country. Trinity previously was categorized as a regional university and ranked first in the West for 29 of the last thirty years.

While more than ninety percent of the nation’s liberal arts colleges are east of the Mississippi River, Trinity is one of three national liberal arts colleges in Texas and one of only a dozen in the Southwest.

Home to approximately 2,500 students, Trinity has more than 110 majors and minors and offers five graduate programs. Trinity is committed to ensuring that all its degrees represent a liberal arts and sciences education.

More than eighty percent of Trinity students participate in internships or undergraduate research, and more than fifty teams of student entrepreneurs have launched start-ups from campus. Student athletes compete on eighteen varsity sports teams.

With a steadfast commitment to increasing graduation and retention rates, increasing access and social mobility, and increasing affordability, Trinity University will continue redefining the liberal arts for the 21st century.
