TEXAS A&M INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, is the higher education center of a vibrant multilingual and multicultural community. The 2017 Student Success Ratings by Eduventures ranks TAMIU first among public universities in Texas for student retention. TAMIU ranked fourth among Southern colleges ranked as “Best Bang for the Buck” in the 2017 Washington Monthly college guide rankings.
