AT TEXAS STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE, our mission is to “Place More Texans in Great-Paying Jobs.” To that end, we partner with community colleges, four-year institutions of higher education, and thousands of industry leaders throughout Texas to fill the ever-increasing workforce needs of Texas.

Offering programs in more than forty in-demand technologies, we serve the state with ten campus locations: Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood, East Williamson County, Fort Bend County, Harlingen, Marshall, North Texas, Sweetwater, and Waco. Our students get an affordable technical education and can receive Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificates of completion.

TSTC instructors bring real-world industry experience to their classrooms and labs. We also partner with industry to make sure that our students get hands-on training with state-of-the-art, industry-standard equipment.

TSTC has been nationally recognized for operating on an innovative funding formula that is outcomes-based. We don’t get paid until our graduates get hired.

TSTC offers a Money-Back Guarantee on its most commercially viable programs, including Diesel Equipment Technology, Electrical Lineworker and Management Technology, Electrical Power and Controls, Industrial Systems, Instrumentation Technology, Precision Machining Technology, Process Operations, Robotics and Industrial Controls Technology, and Welding Technology. The Money-Back Guarantee, which refunds tuition to participating graduates of these programs if they do not find jobs in their fields within six months of graduation, reinforces our commitment to prepare and place highly skilled, technically competent graduates in the Texas workforce.
