Schreiner University

Kerrville, Texas

FOUNDED IN 1923, Schreiner University is an independent, coeducational university with a rich history steeped in Texas heritage and tradition.

Students enter with hope and leave with achievement at Schreiner. Private and church-related, Schreiner is nestled in the beautiful Hill Country, just an hour from San Antonio and ninety minutes from Austin.

Schreiner awards bachelor’s degrees in more than forty programs of study. Other degrees and certifications include a Master of Business Administration, Master of Education, and principal certification. Schreiner nurtures numerous living and learning communities organized around interests such as leadership, honors, global studies, performing arts, Christian fellowship, communication design, and career goals.

While enrollment is growing, most classrooms seat 25 or fewer students to ensure a personal learning environment. Schreiner’s highly qualified faculty is committed to student success and involved in campus life. Tuition is locked in and not raised if a student graduates in four years or less.

More than thirty student organizations, including a Greek system, make up Schreiner’s robust campus life. Athletes comprise one-third of undergraduates and compete in NCAA Division III. Varsity programs provide intercollegiate competition in shooting sports, cheerleading, wrestling, esports, band, choir, riflery, and equestrian sports. The ministry program supports a variety of faith-based student groups.
